Hollywood star and wife jailed after skipping out on hotel bill

Most people in this world are honest when it comes to paying their debts. When they need help making ends meet during a temporary crisis, they may even resort to honest means of securing extra funds, like payday loans in Los Angeles from a direct lender. Enter the Randy Quaid arrest
Associated Press reports indicate that actor Randy Quaid and his wife Evi Quaid were arrested in a West Texas town for allegedly skipping out on a $10,000 hotel bill at the San Ysidro Ranch resort in Santa Barbara, California. Did he expect Clark Griswold to take care of it for him?
After spending a few hours in a Marfa, Texas jail (check out the Randy Quaid mug shot), Randy Quaid went with Presidio County Sheriff Danny Dominguez to the bank so that the actor could withdraw $40,000 to bail both of them out. I imagine he has enough in there to cover his hotel bill, but if he needs a little extra to tip his server, payday loans in Los Angeles from a direct lender would be appropriate.
He wasn’t handcuffed, but received “no special treatment”
Considering that Marfa, Texas is a small town, it isn’t surprising that the bank trip went down like something out of a Newberry afternoon. Luckily, Randy was unable to trick Sheriff Dominguez into gladly paying him Tuesday for a hamburger today.
“I like to help everybody out,” Dominguez said.
A felony warrant for burglary
Not only that, but defrauding an innkeeper and conspiracy were issued by authorities in Santa Barbara. Santa Barbara County sheriff’s spokesman Drew Sugars indicated that they had not spoken with Randy Quaid about the incident, but would not comment further. Neither would Quaid’s agent, Steven Arcieri. The AP indicates that much, but I am left wondering why he never considered payday loans in Los Angeles from a direct lender. Much less expensive than bail, last I checked.

However, Sheriff Dominguez says that Evi Quaid’s resistance upon arrest “wasn’t too much,” and that she “calmed down quickly.” Sadly, payday loans in Los Angeles from a direct lender could have made this day unnecessary.
His work has been noteworthy
Randy Quaid won a Golden Globe Award and received an Emmy nomination for his role as President Lyndon Johnson in “LBJ: The Early Years.” However, the bulk of his work has been in films like the “National Lampoon’s Vacation” series, “Kingpin” and “Independence Day.” Hopefully he’ll pay his bill so he can maintain his independence, because he has no Griswold family or secret career as a bowling prodigy to fall back on.

Marfa is a star in its own right
That small town of 2,100 has been home to Hollywood productions like “Giant,” “There Will Be Blood” and “No Country For Old Men.” It was founded as a railway stop in 1883.
