Actress Jennifer Freeman accused of assaulting spouse Earl Watson

Actress Jennifer Freeman, from “My Wife and Kids,” is accused of assaulting her NBA star spouse, Earl Watson. According to legal papers filed last week by Watson, Jennifer allegedly attacked Watson because he was curious about a suspicious text Jennifer had received close to midnight. Watson filed for divorce after the Aug. 1 incident, seeking full custody of the couple’s 10-month-old daughter.

Earl Watson and Jennifer Freeman’s fight

As outlined by court documents, TMZ reports that the fight started when Earl Watson decided to look through Jennifer Freeman’s phone because of a suspicious text message she had gotten at about 11 p.m. Aug. 1. Watson said that Jennifer became so angry that he took the phone she started to hit him “twice in the face with her right open hand.” He claimed she then grabbed and bit into his right wrist, “breaking the skin, leaving teeth marks and drawing blood.” After sinking her teeth within the wrist, Jennifer allegedly proceeded to chomp down on his chest, drawing blood yet again. But it didn’t stop there. Watson claims Jennifer even went after him with an iron, but he was able to knock the object from her hand before she could add any more damage.

Jennifer Freeman, now 24, is well known for her role as Claire Kyle in the television sitcom “My Wife and Kids.”
